History of the Faculty and Staff Senate
Established under the regulations of the Faculty and Staff Senate of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University in 2004, the Faculty and Staff Senate plays a crucial role in overseeing the welfare of staff and faculty members. It provides recommendations, upholds academic standards, formulates policies, regulations, and maintains the ethical standards of the faculty and staff.
Mission
The Faculty and Staff Senate’s responsibilities, as outlined in Section 24 of the Rajabhat University Act of 2004, include:
1. Advising and providing recommendations on university activities and development to the President or University Council.
2. Seeking collaborative approaches to enhance the capabilities of faculty and staff in performing their duties in accordance with professional ethics.
3. Protecting the interests of the university and performing other duties as assigned by the President or University Council.
4. Convening meetings of faculty and staff to review university activities and present opinions to the University Council.
Note: The activities of the Faculty and Staff Senate are considered official duties, and any actions taken in the performance of these duties are protected and shall not be grounds for disciplinary action.
